Ambassadors

The Concert Band of Cobourg is always proud to represent the Town of Cobourg whenever it travels, whether it be within Ontario or beyond Canada’s boarders. Over the years, the Band has crisscrossed the province from Niagara Falls to London, Toronto to Bowmanville, Colborne to Picton, performing in numerous concerts, tattoos, and parades.

We have also been honoured to be Town Ambassadors at several high profile and international events:

• Greeting of the Royal Yacht Britannia – 1994
• Twinning Ceremonies with Coburg, Germany – 1997
• Opening day for Toronto Blue Jays – 2004
• Rochester International Tattoo – 2006
• Battle of Plattsburgh Commemorative Weekend, Plattsburgh, New York – annually since 2002
• Visits by Royalty – Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip as well as the Duke and Duchess of York
• Visits by the Governor General
• Visits by the Lieutenant Governor
